- How white will my teeth actually get?
- Most patients see several shades of improvement with in-office Zoom whitening. Natural tooth structure responds well; existing crowns, veneers and bonded fillings do not change color, which is why we plan those together.
- Does cosmetic work hurt?
- Whitening can cause short-lived sensitivity that settles within a day or two. Veneers and crowns are done with local anesthetic, and sedation is available if you are anxious.
- Is cosmetic dentistry covered by insurance?
- Purely cosmetic treatment usually is not, but crowns and restorations that also protect a damaged tooth often carry partial coverage. We check your plan first and offer CareCredit for the balance.
