Dental Implants
An implant is a small titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth, topped with a crown that looks and works like the tooth you lost. Unlike a bridge, it does not rely on the neighboring teeth, and unlike a denture, it does not move when you eat.

Implant bridges

Implant-supported dentures
Snap-in or fixed dentures anchored to implants, which end the slipping, the adhesive and the diet restrictions.
Extractions and site preparation
When a tooth has to come out, we plan the extraction with the future implant in mind and graft the site where needed.
Common questions about dental implants
- How long does the whole process take?
- Placement is a single appointment. Healing before the final crown usually takes three to six months, depending on bone quality and whether grafting was needed.
- Is it painful?
- Most patients compare it to an extraction and manage with over-the-counter pain relief for a day or two. Sedation is available for the appointment itself.
- Am I too old for implants?
- Age is rarely the deciding factor — bone health and medical history matter far more. We review both at the consultation.
